Whilst there are many who might say: "Wait a minute, isn't Michael a male angel?" to them I would say you don't know much about angels. For the most part, all angels are either androgynous or hermaphroditic and so their gender tends to be something they portray to suit best their moods and the expectations of the mortals they deal with. Like your perfect depictions of Gabriel that bring out her feminine side ideally, this Michael adaptation is likewise perfect in the similar task it accomplishes. Michael, like Gabriel, is a warrior angel, and so whether male or female that being is mighty, powerful, and beautiful always. As all angels of that sort are! Everything about this painting is amazing - the detail in the angel's face, her attire, her wings, and her sword are all very well designed. The choice of background here is interesting - sort of an ethereal cathedral. An ideal place for such an apparition to appear! I like how she looks like she's enjoying her job, too, she has a look of total satisfaction on her face that says: "I am an angel of God, and I like it! This is who and what I am!" It suits Michael and his \ her personality ideally. Great work, and like your Gabriel paintings a must-fave for me.
Brilliant work! Greatly constructed and painted um do you mind if I use this image? I usually put the artists name and that its on Devaintart or should I do it a different way is there anything you want me to add?
Angels aren't meant to have breasts either. Having breasts means that they breastfeed children, and they don't really reproduce, thus the lack of any genitalia. They were also humanized over the years, and didn't have wings when first artistically depicted.
Holy shit and muffins, what a nice shape there is to this drawing. And the light on the wings, oooh. And the red glow in her eyes is like the dot aboive the i as the sayig goes in my language, well done! hehe..
